We teamed up with our friends at We Are Social to help Adidas celebrate their 15 year partnership with Lionel Messi. The film was launched the moment Messi won the Copa America with Argentina, an achievement he had been working towards for nearly two decades, reigniting his international career in the process and setting the stage for his era defining World Cup victory in 2022. 

Directed by Doug Stewart, we spliced together game footage, home video and archival Adidas commercials in an edit that seamlessly linked different moments of Messi’s career together, threading it into an uplifting narrative that celebrated his iconic contribution to the beautiful game – and his enduring brand defining association with Adidas.
